Reaccomodated, Free of Cost,
about 5000 slum dwellers and
residents of the old dilapidated
buildings.
Have
adopted playgrounds, parks and
gardens and developed them at
own cost and maintaining the
same without charging any fees
from the public.

was jointly developed with two
other persons.

and is being maintained with
no contribution from anyone.
There
are different gardens, big and
small, throughout the islands
which have been taken from the
Bombay Municipal Corporation,
developed into gardens and are
being maintained by me.
Have
participated substantially with
the building industry for development
of 200 houses in earthquake
affected Latur District.
Has
constructed 300 houses at own
cost within 8 days at the request
of the Maharashtra State Government
to re-habilitate the riot affected
people of Bhiwandi.
There
is a proposal to re-develop
slum areas to provide 10,000
houses to slum dwellers in Bombay,
free of cost, on ownership basis. |
