PARTY HEADQUARTERS


As our party got a recognition of National Party, the building No. 10, Dr. Bishambhar Das Marg, New Delhi from where our party headquarters is housed from the very inception of the party, was allotted to the Party for the use of Party office by the government. The Party headquarters Continues to function from this building.

Special mention is due to Shri S.R. Kohli, who is the Hony. Permanent Secretary and Media Advisor for the NCP. He is very experienced and dedicated to his job. He earlier held the portfolio of the Political Advisor under Late Shri H.N. Bahuguna, former Chief Minister of UP and thereafter Addl. Secy. to the Communication Minister. He was also the OSD to Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He is also a very senior political and social worker and journalist.

Special mention is also due to Mr. A.Z. Palwi and Mr. Chandan Bose. Mr. Aboo Zafar Palwi is Office Superintendent in the Central Office of the NCP, since 1999. His qualifications include Botany Hons., M.Sc. (Botany) and B.Ed. A former Lecturer of Botany (Life Sciences) in a Degree College in Bihar, he went on to hold the position of P.S. to Mr. Tariq Anwar in the capacity of Political Secretary to the then Congress President Shri Sita Ram Kesari.
Mr. Chandan Bose was born in 1949 in Delhi into a Bengali family. A son of a freedom fighter, Shri Chandan Bose has political blood. He joined Congress (I) in 1971, after graduation, as an active worker and was absorbed in the headquarters of AICC in New Delhi to assist the then leaders. Shri Bose worked mainly in the organisation wing, parliamentary board, publicity department and assisted many General Secretaries from time to time in their workings. Considering his talent and vast experience, he got an entry in NCP in 1999 and now holds the designation of PRO.
